ABOUT THE MEETING

This program is a concentrated and comprehensive update of basic and advanced principles related to MR imaging in the assessment of internal derangements of joints. Essential anatomy, physiology, and pathology are used as the foundation for understanding MR imaging findings in disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot. When suitable, MR imaging findings are compared to those derived from alternative imaging methods.

Course Organization
This program is planned and organized by Educational Symposia, the leader in diagnostic imaging education since 1975.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The target audience is practicing radiologists, orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, and other physicians interested in musculoskeletal disorders.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Registrants should, at the completion of this course, be able to:

  • Assess MR images in patients with internal derangements of peripheral joints
  • Articulate the anatomic features fundamental to accurate interpretation of the MR imaging findings in these disorders
  • Formulate a reasonable differential diagnostic list and be able to identify the most likely diagnosis

No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.

The Elegance and Style of Venice Combined with the Excitement of Las Vegas

Located on the world-renowned Las Vegas Strip, The Venetian Resort·Hotel·Casino has authentically recreated the famed city of romance by perfectly replicating Venice's historical art, architecture and culture in the city of entertainment. Where prestige and elegance meet, The Venetian has lots to offer; from its piazzas to luxurious suites, fine dining to The Grand Canal Shoppes and the majestic ballrooms to the casino. The Venetian is founded on one simple idea: to authentically recreate the famous Italian city, best known for its canals, gondoliers and rich Italian history.

Set along the canals and walkways reminiscent of 15th-Century Venice, The Grand Canal Shoppes combine an exceptional mix of high-fashion boutiques featuring the names of great designers and retailers. Over 80 fine retail shops and gourmet restaurants create an environment like no other. From entertainment to dining, The Grand Canal Shoppes are one of a kind. In October 2001, The Venetian became home to the world-renowned Guggenheim Hermitage Museum, currently featuring "The Pursuit of Pleasure." Drawn from the collections of three of the world's greatest museums, this new exhibition includes works by Picasso, Reubens, Manet, Titian, Rodin and more.

Guests can stroll along the cobblestone streets, visit The Grand Canal Shoppes, lazily float down canals on a gondola, or marvel at the remarkably detailed reproductions of Venice's great landmarks.
