Educational Symposia was founded in 1975 for the purpose of organizing practical, clinical CME programs. The best instructors on specific topics of current issues are brought together to educate community practice physicians.

Our symposia and our video/DVD programs are recognized for their large faculties of renowned physicians selected for their teaching ability and their expertise. What do I need to do to receive credit for a video/DVD series?
You will need to purchase a CME Application Package. This includes an application form, a test and a critique. You will need to complete and return the entire CME Application Package to receive credit.

How do I order a CME Application Package (application form, test and critique) for a video/DVD series?
You can order a CME Application Package at the time you initially place the order, or at a later date. If you order a CME Application Package during the initial order, the CME Application Package will be provided to you in your shipment.

Is there an expiration date for claiming CME credit?
Yes. All of our video/DVD series have a CME shelf life of three years from the original release date, which is listed on the brochure and the website.

What is the normal processing time for a CME Application Package (application form, test and critique)?
CME certificates are normally processed upon receipt of your CME Application Package. Certificates are mailed through the regular postal service, unless other arrangements have been made.

What if I need my CME certificate expedited?
We suggest that you send your CME Application Package (application form, test and critique) to us via overnight delivery service and include a self-addressed, pre-paid overnight delivery form so we can return your CME certificate as soon as possible.

What if I misplace my CME Application Package (application form, test and critique) or CME certificate?
There is a replacement fee of $20.00 for the CME Application Package. There is a $10.00 replacement fee for the CME certificate.

Can I claim credit on part of a video/DVD series and then claim the rest of the credit later?
Yes. However, we require that you complete a separate CME Application Package (application form, test and critique) for each portion of the series. There is a charge for each CME Application Package. Therefore, if you are claiming partial credit on a video/DVD series, you will need to order and submit another CME Application Package to claim the remainder of the credit hours. We advise everyone to view the entire series and claim the credit all at one time since this is more economical.

How do I order a CME Application Package (application form, test and critique) after the initial video/DVD order has been placed?
You will need to provide us with the ordering account name (i.e., the individual name or the company/group name listed on the account). CME Application Packages are available at an additional cost per person based on the price listed on the website or in the brochure. All CME Application Packages will be mailed to the address on the original order.

Once I've ordered a video/DVD, do I receive a confirmation?
Yes. Upon verification of your payment, you will receive an acknowledgment letter confirming your video/DVD order, which includes confirmation of the amount you paid. This information is provided to you in the shipment containing your video/DVD order. This receipt can be used for reimbursement or for tax purposes.

What method of shipping is used for a video/DVD order?
Upon verification of your payment, we ship ground service, which usually takes 7 - 10 business days. There is no additional cost for ground service. Subject to availability, we do offer a 2-day FEDEX service at a cost of $45.00 per order and a FEDEX overnight service at a cost of $75.00 per order. If you have any questions, please call 800-338-5901.

What if I lose/damage a video tape or a DVD?
The replacement cost is $50.00 per videotape and $75.00 per DVD. You will need to provide us with the original ordering account name/company name. Your replacement tape/DVD will be sent by ground service unless you request expedited shipping (which, subject to availability, can be arranged at an additional cost).

What is the return policy for cancelling a video/DVD series?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may cancel by returning your order, or any portion of your order, within 15 days of receiving it. You will receive a refund for the portion that is returned, less a $50.00 processing fee and a $15.00 standard shipping charge. If your order was sent express, the additional shipping charges will NOT be refunded. No refunds can be made after 15 days. All cancellations must be in writing. CME credit cannot be granted when a video/DVD order is canceled.

Can I change my videotape order into a DVD order?
Yes, you can call us at (800) 338-5901 (toll free, U.S. and Canada) or (813) 806-1000 (direct) and convert your videotape order into a DVD order. You will need to return your video tapes, and include a letter referencing your request to convert the order from video tapes to DVDs. Please include the original person/group name and the name of the video/DVD series. Check or credit card information can be included in the package for the difference in price (found on our website or in the brochure). Or, you may call us and remit payment using your credit card. The shipping department will send the DVDs via ground shipping.

What are ESI POINTS?
ESI POINTS are points earned by purchasing products through www.edusymp.com. ESI POINTS can be redeemed and converted into coupons. These coupons can be used to receive discounts on products purchased on Educational Symposia's website. Customers who create an account on Educational Symposia's website are able to earn ESI POINTS.

How do I accrue ESI POINTS?
For every dollar spent through Educational Symposia's website, an ESI POINT is earned.

What is the value of an ESI POINT?
Currently, 25 ESI POINTS are worth $1 toward future registrations or video/DVD orders.

How can I see how many ESI POINTS I've earned since I've created my account?
Once logged into your account, you can view your ESI POINTS history by choosing Option #5 "Redeem Points." This screen will show your ESI POINTS totals history and how many ESI POINTS are available for redemption.

How can I redeem my ESI POINTS?
When logged into your account, click on the "My Account" option located in the top menu bar. Choose option #5 "Redeem Points." This will show your ESI POINTS history and how many ESI POINTS are available for redemption. Type in the number of ESI POINTS you'd like to redeem and click continue. The next screen will tell you how much your coupon will be worth. After verifying your choice, click submit and an electronic coupon will be e-mailed to the e-mail address on your account. This e-mail will explain how to use your coupon. It will also tell you how much it's worth, when it expires and the ESI POINTS Coupon Code.

Once I've redeemed my ESI POINTS and received my coupon via e-mail, how do I use it on Educational Symposia's website?
There are two ways to use the ESI POINTS Coupon. The first way is to enter the Coupon Code (which will be given in the e-mail) during check out. There is an area for this purpose labeled "Coupon Code." Second, once logged into www.edusymp.com, go to your account and choose option 2 "Coupon Code". Enter your coupon code here. Upon checkout, your discount will be automatically applied.

Do the ESI POINT Coupons expire?
Yes. The ESI POINT Coupons expire one year from the date you redeem them.

The brochure and e-mail codes help Educational Symposia's marketing department better serve the needs of their customers.

I can't seem to locate the requested code on my brochure. Where is it?
On all of our brochures, the code is located at the top left corner of the registration/order form. The code will either be consecutive letters or consecutive numbers. Once located, enter the LAST letter or number in the code.

On all of our e-mails, the code is located at the bottom left corner. The code will be both letters and numbers. Once located, enter ALL of the letters and number in the code.
