ABOUT THE MEETING

The evolution of 3T MRI is transforming the diagnostic evaluation of a wide variety of clinical disorders. This symposium presents a practical, yet clinically relevant, review of this dynamic technology. Tips, techniques, protocols and, advanced clinical applications will be covered. This meeting is structured to teach attendees how to maximize the capabilities of their scanner and, when appropriate, how to best utilize the power of 3T MRI in a competitive imaging environment.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This CME activity is primarily intended and designed to educate diagnostic imaging physicians. Also, it should be useful in educating orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other referring physicians who order MRI procedures, as well as radiologic technologists.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:

  • Implement optimized protocols for 3T MRI into their clinical practices
  • Describe the unique issues and expanded indications for Clinical 3T
  • Maximize the expanded clinical applications of 3T MRI for the evaluation of the vascular system
  • Expand clinical applications for MRI in the evaluation of patients with CNS disorders
  • Explain the clinical benefits of 3T in the evaluation of musculoskeletal, body, breast and cardiac disease
  • More effectively utilize MR to assess patients with musculoskeletal pathology

No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.

COURSE ORGANIZATION

This program is planned and organized by Educational Symposia, the leader in diagnostic imaging education since 1975.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Educational Symposia gratefully acknowledges the following corporate supporters and exhibitors:
