Target Audience
This CME activity is primarily designed to educate practicing pathologists.
Educational Objectives
At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:
  • More accurately evaluate clinical, pathologic patterns in myeloid and lymphoid disorders in blood and bone marrow.
  • Review new benign and neoplastic myeloid and lymphoid disorder classifications and revisions according to the 2008 WHO classification.
  • More accurately diagnose placental circulatory disorders and their clinical correlations.
  • Recognize and assess placental pathology in intrauterine infections.
  • Increase understanding of gestational trophoblastic disease.
  • More accurately evaluate and diagnose breast lesions.
  • Recognize, assess and more accurately understand newer prognostic and predictive factors in breast cancer: relevance to classification, prognosis, treatment and clinical outcome.
  • Increase understanding of ER and HER2 testing in breast cancer.
  • Review immunohistochemistry in the diagnostic evaluation of breast lesions.
