At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:
- Utilize cytopathology and histopathology to resolve the most common diagnostic issues in salivary gland pathology.
- Discuss the emerging role of molecular diagnostics when used to diagnose salivary gland pathology.
- Summarize the immunohistochemical biomarkers in surgical neuropathology.
- Differentiate squamous lesions from their mimics.
- Discuss diagnostic strategies and treatment implications for HPV-associated tumors of the head and neck.
- Recognize key diagnostic features that define common follicular patterned thyroid neoplasms.
