About This CME Teaching Activity
The 14th Annual Detroit Regional Sports Medicine Symposium is designed to update orthopaedic surgeons and other orthopaedic healthcare professionals on the prevention and treatment of sports-related injuries. A distinguished faculty will present these concepts through didactic lectures, case presentations, and panel discussions.
Target Audience
Physicians, fellows, residents, physician assistants, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes the management of sports-related injuries.
Educational Objectives
At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:
  • Analyze current trends in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex orthopaedic sports injuries
  • Demonstrate knowledge of non-operative techniques and pain management options for sports-related injuries and recall evidence-based treatments
  • Identify the various treatment options for a variety of sports and musculoskeletal injuries

Cancellation Policy: Individual reservations must be cancelled by 4:00 PM day prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation penalty of one night’s room and tax.
